ICoMST 2012 – August 12-17 - Montreal, Quebec, Canada
The Canadian Meat Science Association and the Canadian Meat Council supported by INITIA (The Agri-food Foundation) are proud to host the 58th International Congress of Meat Science and Technology in Montréal, the largest city in “La Belle Province” of Québec August 12-17, 2012.
The world’s most renowned specialists will explore the healthy world of meat from sustainable and environmentally sound production systems through to healthy products for the consumer. The latest developments in meat science including consumer trends, nutrition and health, quality, tenderness, biochemistry, microbial quality and safety, sustainability, and animal welfare will be shared.
ICoMST 2012, truly the place to be for those who wish to learn about state-of-the-art technologies used worldwide, will feature two special events. From August 9 to 11, 30 graduate students will have the opportunity to attend a course lectured by world leading experts. Thursday, August 16 will be dedicated to topics that specifically address the meat industry’s needs: the CMSA Global Meat Quality and Safety Industry Day.
