What is the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your meeting experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged.
Who can attend the Reciprocal Meat Conference?
The Reciprocal Meat Conference is open to all meat science professionals in academia, industry and government. Included are all technical aspects of muscle foods production from farm to table.
AMSA reserves the right to refuse ineligible registrations.
Will all conference programming be held at the University of Florida Hilton Conference Center?
All programming will be held at the Convention Center. Locations for events not being held at the Center will be noted in the schedule of activities.
I am a member of the press – do you have press registration?
AMSA welcomes professional editorial staff (including photographers and camera crews) of print, online, and broadcast media to attend the Reciprocal Meat Conference on a complimentary basis. Other publications staff (non-editorial positions, such as publishers, advertising directors, and advertising representatives) may attend the Reciprocal Meat Conference by registering as a delegate and paying all related fees.

I am not a member of AMSA but my co-worker is and cannot attend. Can I use their membership to register at the member rate?
Membership in AMSA is individual and non-transferable to others. However, meat science professionals registering for the meeting as a nonmember, will receive a complimentary one-year membership in AMSA!
What does my registration fee include?
Registration fees include access to all tecnical sessions Monday through Wednesday, admission to the evening receptions on Sunday and Tuesday evenings.
Meals included are lunch on Monday and Tuesday and breakfast on Tuesday.
When will registration open? What are the registration rates?

Will I be refunded if I have to cancel my registration?
Delegates who are unable to attend the conference will receive a full refund of registration fees and ticketed event fees (less $25 service fee), provided that a written request is received by AMSA Headquarters by June 2, 2008. Refunds will not be considered for requests made after this date. Replacements are welcome.
Will transportation be provided during the conference?
No regular shuttle services will be provided for the conference. There will be ample parking at all conference venues. If you need assistance with transportation from the hotels to the conference venues, an RMC shuttle will be on call. Please contact the AMSA Headquarters for more information.
