National Pork Board Announces 25 New Scholarships

The National Pork Board will be giving out 25 Pork Industry Scholarships worth $2,000 each this fall. These scholarships will be sponsored by the Science & Technology Department at the National Pork Board. Applicants must be a College Sophomore, Junior or Senior majoring in Animal Science or a related field. Applicants must also be dedicated to a career or graduate studies in swine management or pork production in the following swine disciplines: Agricultural Business, Agriculture Engineering, Agronomy, Animal Breeding/Genetics/Genomics, Animal Physiology, Bioinformatics, Environmental Science, Environmental Physiology/Behavior, Meat Science, Nutrition, Reproductive Physiology, Swine Production Health/Research and other related fields. Applicants considering a graduate degree program in a swine science discipline as a first choice option are preferred. Online applications will be avaliable at http://www.pork.org/.
