A fundraising drive for establishing a mentorship in the name of Robert Bray was started in December 2006. Dr. Bray was AMSA's first president and the first recipient of the R.C. Pollock Award.

The funds raised from the mentorship recognition will be used to endow the AMSA R.C. Pollock Award.
