Resolutions & Necrology Committee
Purpose
To Guide the Association in appropriate recognition of deserving people and institutions as needed.
Principle Duties
· Determine the need for and write Association resolutions. Resolutions are presented at the annual business meeting. Typical resolutions include words of thanks to RMC host institutions and other individuals and organizations whose efforts deserve such recognition.
· Inform the membership in an appropriate manner of members who have passed away during the course of the year (typically done during the annual business meeting).
Membership
· Number of appointed members: 3
· Length of term: 3 years
· Chair/Vice Chair: appointed annually by the AMSA President
· Vacancies: appointed by the AMSA Executive Committee
