Conference Venue
Most of the RMC program will take place at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center located in Gainesville. A room block has been reserved for RMC participants at the hotel. We want as many RMC participants to be able to stay at the Hilton to maximize the networking opportunities during the conference.

No regular shuttle services will be provided for the conference. There will be ample parking at all conference venues. If you need assistance with transportation from the hotels to the conference venues, an RMC shuttle will be on call. Please contact the AMSA Headquarters for more information.
Getting to RMC
By air into Gainesville: The Gainesville Regional Airport (airport code GNV) is served by USAirways Express, Discover Air, and ASA (the Delta Connection) from the hub cities of Charlotte NC, Miami, and Atlanta, respectively.
Taxi service is usually available curbside at the Gainesville Airport. The approximate cost from the airport to the Hilton is $12 to $15 depending on luggage.
By air into Jacksonville or Orlando: For more flights and better prices you can check one of the other area airports. Jacksonville (JAX) is 85 miles northwest of Gainesville (driving time = 1.5 hours) and Orlando (MCO) is 109 miles south of Gainesville (driving time = 2.0 hours). You can rent a car at these airports or take one of the airport shuttles. If you plan to take a shuttle you must make reservations in advance. If you arrive without reservations and take a cab from one of these airports it will cost over $100 one way.
Gator Express (web page and phone 352-528-6048) has one-way fares of $70 for one person, $100 for two and $40 each for three or more riders from JAX and $80 for one person, $120 for two and $50 each for three or more riders from MCO.
A1 Yellow Cab (phone 352-376-9696) with two day notice has one-way fares of $70 for one person and $10 each for additional riders from JAX and $75 for one person and $10 each for additional riders from MCO.
By car: Gainesville is on Interstate 75, approximately 300 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia, and 300 miles north of Miami, Florida.
When traveling on I-75 Northbound (from Tampa or Orlando), take exit #384. Turn right onto Archer Road and follow to SW 34th Street. Turn left on 34th Street, hotel is three blocks down on the left. When traveling on I-75 Southbound (from Jacksonville, Tallahassee or Georgia), take exit #384. Turn left onto Archer Road and follow to SW 34th Street. Turn left on 34th Street, hotel is three blocks down on the left.
