Quiz Bowl

The 2008 Quiz Bowl will be held during the 61st Reciprocal Meat Conference hosted by the University of Florida at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center in Gainesville, Florida. The preliminary rounds will be held on Sunday afternoon, June 22 with the final round on Monday evening, June 23 during the RMC Picnic.

Key Facts About the Quiz Bowl

 

• Quiz bowl teams consist of three undergraduate students from a university.
• Team members must be undergraduates or have received their bachelor's degree no earlier than May, 2008.
• Team members must also be current student members of the American Meat Science Association.
• Members of previous winning teams are not eligible to participate.
• Up to TWO teams may be entered by each university.

Entries must be submitted to AMSA Headquarters no later than May 21, 2008. A $30 entry fee is required for each team.
