Jacqueline Ponce
Jacqueline Ponce is from San Antonio, Texas and went to Colorado State University where she earned her BS in animal science. At CSU, Jacqueline was a member of the 2014 meat judging team, competed on quiz bowl teams, as well as worked in the university meat lab and as an undergraduate research assistant. As an undergrad she completed an operations internship with Cargill in Fort Morgan, Colorado and a research and development internship with Tyson in Downers Grove, Illinois. Currently, she is at Texas Tech University working towards her MS in Food Science under Dr. Jerrad Legako where her research is focused on the effects of packaging on beef flavor.
