Nick Hardcastle grew up on his family’s farm in the Texas Panhandle where they raise cotton, corn and cattle. He currently lives in Lubbock, Texas and is attending Texas Tech University. Nick is working towards his Masters in Meat Science under Dr. Mark Miller. At Tech he coaches the Meat Judging Team and enjoys educating students about the meat industry. Nick has also gotten the chance to participate in research both domestically and abroad. He enjoys getting to see the world’s food industry and hopes he can make a positive impact on it in the future.
