Fall Intercollegiate Meat Judging Schedule
- September 14, 2024: National Barrow Show- Undergraduate and Graduate Divisions
- September 13 and 14, 2024: AMSA Contest Committee Member Training at Oklahoma State University
- September 21 2024: Beef Empire Days- Garden City Community College and Tyson, Garden, City, KS- Contact: Dr. Clint Alexander
- September 28 2024: Eastern National- Cargill, Wyalusing, PA
- October 13, 2024: American Royal- Nebraska Beef, Omaha, NE
- October 27, 2024: Cargill High Plains- Cargill, Friona, TX
- November 10, 2024: International- Tyson, Dakota City, NE
Contest Schedule
- 5:30am- Group Leaders arrive- American Division
- 5:30am- American Division Registration begins at 5:30am-ALL competitors MUST be registered by 6:00am
- 6:00am- Brief welcome and instructions, divide into groups, and prepare for the contest
- 6:50am- Competitors enter the cooler
- 7:00am- Contest begins- we MUST begin on time
- 8:00am- National Division Group Leaders and Teams arrive
- 8:00am- National Division Registration begins-All competitors MUST be registered by 8:15am
- 8:15am- Brief welcome and instructions, divide into groups, and prepare for the contest
- 9:00am- Competitors enter the cooler
- 2:00-2:30pm- Contest conclude
Contest Registration
- Team Registration is $250.00 for 8 judgers or less.
- Individual Registration is $25.00 per judger.
- For additional judgers you will purchase individual registrations for each additional team member. For example, if you have a team of 18 you will purchase 1 team registration- $250.00 and 10 individual registrations ($25 X 10= $250). The total registration fees for one contest will be $500.00.
